The 30th International Screen Studies Conference, will take place at the University of Glasgow on 26-28 June 2020.

The keynote speakers for the 30th International Screen Studies Conference are Dr Song Hwee Lim (University of Exeter), Professor Sarita Malik (Brunel University London) and Professor Ravi Vasudevan (Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, Delhi)

Papers on all aspects of screen studies are programmed, with a thematic strand focusing on the impact that recent calls to decolonise, de-centre or de-Westernise established creative canons and intellectual approaches across academia and beyond have had on the practices of and ideas in screen-based media
